• You've tried crocheting a chain and double crochet stitch before (US terms)
• You’re not sure if you're doing it right and want some guidance
• You feel more confident learning with a teacher by your side
• You’d love to spend time in a warm and welcoming group of fellow yarn lovers
• You want to gain enough skills and confidence to complete the bag at home after class

Whether you’re brushing off old skills or just need a little boost to go beyond beginner level — you’ll be in great company. We’ll guide you every step of the way.

• 1 or 2 balls of Katia WOW! Tote Bag Yarn (depending on size of bag you want to make available at Statement Junkie)
• Crochet hook 5 mm (US H/8)
• A smaller hook (3–4 mm)
• Stitch markers
• Scissors
