- 2 skeins of Serpentina (100% superwash merino wool approx. 100g/142yards per skein)
- US 11 / 8mm 32" circular needles or size to obtain gauge
Serpentina is a unique yarn, created in Manos Del Uruguay cooperatives, hands-on from handpainted merino tops, Serpentina is a truly artisanal product. Each skein is unique, and the colours are totally random - they will not stack or pool. The spinning process creates a delicate colour twirling effect that reminds us of the paper streamers (serpentines) thrown at the Carnival parties.
The colours in Serpentina's colour card honour iconic women, that have changed history.
