Part Time Sales Associate
Part Time: 3-4 days per week including weekends and holidays (up to 28 hours)
Applicants must be able to work weekdays, evening, weekends, including long weekends and holidays.
Statement Junkie Yarn Company is local yarn shop located in Sherwood Park, Alberta. We are looking for fun, energetic people that share a love for the fibre arts like we do!

We help people find the perfect yarn for their projects and yarnies just looking to fill up their stash! We love helping those not familiar with the fibre arts find that perfect gift for a special person in their life!
Our mission is to work together to build a fun and energetic environment for everyone to enjoy!
Responsibilities Include:
- Greeting and serving customers promptly and providing a memorable customer service experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Answering phone calls, emails & social media inquiries
- Keeping the shop clean, organized and well stocked
- Operate computer, POS system and cash handling
- Assisting customers in yarn selection using your product and fibre knowledge
- Receiving deliveries, updating inventory and stocking shelves
- Preparing online orders

- Your knitting experience – Have you taught someone before, are active in any community knitting groups? Have you worked at a yarn shop before? Done any video tutorials? Any classes that you've taken?
- Please include any social media accounts you have linked with your craft such as an Etsy account, Instagram or Facebook Page, YouTube Channels, website etc.
- Previous retail experience is an asset but not required
