Statement Junkie Yarn Company is local yarn shop located in Sherwood Park, Alberta. We are looking for fun, energetic people that share a love for the fibre arts like we do!
You will be part of a team that is committed to customer service and care about building a community where connection, creativity, individuality and knowledge are shared and embraced.
We help people find the perfect yarn for their projects and yarn junkies just looking to fill up their stash! We love helping those not familiar with the fibre arts find that perfect gift for a special person in their life and maybe inspire someone to try a new craft.
Our mission is to work together to build a fun and energetic environment for everyone to enjoy!
Responsibilities Include:
- Greeting and serving customers promptly and providing a memorable customer service experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Answering phone calls, emails & social media inquiries
- Keeping the shop clean, organized and well stocked
- Operate MAC computer and Shopify POS system, and cash handling
- Assisting customers in yarn selection using your product and fibre knowledge
- Receiving deliveries, updating inventory and stocking shelves
- Preparing online orders for shipping
