Advanced Beginner
This class is for advanced beginner knitters. It is a great next step if you want to learn a variety of techniques.
- What you should know • You are comfortable with casting on, knitting, and working in the round.
- What you will learn • Kitchener stitch, cord edging, colour work and pattern and chart reading
Class Information
- Group Size • To give you the best help, we limit this class to just four (5) students per session. The class takes place in person at Statement Junkie Yarn.
- Duration • Two (2) Day (One 2-hour session each day). With only four spots, these sessions fill very quickly.
- Catherine Beaulne will guide you through the class. She is known for her patient teaching style that makes learning feel easy. For this session, Catherine will knit her own slippers using a combination of colours in DROPS Snow yarn!
Cost
The course is $80.00 for the full series. 🙌 The pattern is included in the registration fee and will be sent to you by email (yarn and tools are extra).
Resources & Prep
To help you get started, please have these items ready for our first session:
- Yarn • DROPS Snow or DROPS Andes, 252 - 388 yarns (230 - 355 meters) of Super Bulky yarn that can be felted. The amounts depend on your chosen size.

- Notions • Stitch markers, waste yarn (or stitch holders), a tapestry needle, and scissors.
