Learn to Knit: Cuff Down Socks

This is an intermediate class and you need to have a strong knowledge and understanding of basic knitting techniques and terminology.
Have you always wanted to knit a pair of socks and were too intimidated or didn’t know where to start? This 4-part class will teach you how to knit your first pair of socks!
This course is taught using Magic Loop using the pattern 'The I'm So Basic Sock' by Summer Lee. This is a free pattern and available on Ravelry
We will knit our first sock from top-down and each week we will move through a new section of the sock | cuff, heel, toe
Knowledge Required:
Knit
SSK
K2tog
Purl
Supplies Needed:
Locking stitch markers
Tapestry needle
US US 1 | 2.25mm or US 1.5 | 2.5mm (or size to get gauge) in a 32" or 40" fixed circular
At least 400 yards of Fingering weight yarn (make sure there is nylon in your yarn and the colour is not too dark that you won't be able to see your stitches)
One mini skein or scrap ball of sock yarn approximately 50 yards for contrasting cuff, heels and toes
