Experience Level

We understand that some projects can feel overwhelming, especially when you hit a slump or try a new technique. Our classes are here to support you. You will be part of a small group where we support one another, share progress, and stay motivated through to the last stitch.

  • What you should know • You are comfortable with the basics: casting on, knitting and purling.
  • What you will learn:
    • knitting in the round
    • decreasing

Class Information

  • Group Size • To give everyone plenty of attention, we keep our classes small, with just five (5) students per day. The class will take place in person at Statement Junkie Yarn.
  • Duration • Two days (One 2-hour session per day). Only five (5) spots are available, and half typically fill in the first week. If you’re interested in joining, we recommend signing up soon to secure your seat.

What's Included:

  • A digital copy of the pattern downloaded to your Ravelry account. We will require your Ravelry name to purchase the pattern on your behalf.
  • A weekend class in a small positive learning environment teaching you additional skills such as knitting in the round and decreasing

Resources & Prep

To help you get started smoothly, please have these items ready for our first session:

  • Yarn:
    • 476 - 634 yards (435 - 580 meters) of bulky weight yarn. We recommend Sandnes Garn Ballerina Chunky Mohair (yardage depends on the size you wish to make)
  • Needles:
    • US 10 | 6.0mm 16" circular needle
  • Notions:
    • Stitch markers
    • Tapestry needle
