What you will learn
We will explore two colour brioche and learn basic techniques of brioche knitting.
Project
We will be knitting a scarf in two colour brioche using the techniques we have learned. The scarf is Goldwork by Nancy Marchant
Important
Skills to know before registering for this class:
In this workshop we move at a quick pace and and you are required to know how to knit and purl, long tail cast on, increase and decrease stitches, bind off, reading patterns, and knitting terminology.
You will need to bring the following supplies with you:
Cable Needle
Stitch markers
US 2 | 2.75mm 16" circular needle
US 6 | 4mm 16" circular needle
Two contrasting colours in worsted weight yarn. Approx. 50 grams of each colour
Two contrasting colours for the scarf in Fingering weight yarn (approx. 400 yards | 100 grams of each colour)
