Skill Level: Confident Beginner - Intermediate. A confident beginner has worked an accessory pattern in the past, completed Beginner Knitting Level 1, or is still new to knitting. This pattern is designed to be slightly more difficult than a beginner pattern, but is still easy to take on.

Skills Needed:

• Foundation of basic knitting skills - knit and purl stitch, basic cast on and cast off
• Comfortable reading a pattern
• Comfortable choosing materials and selecting the correct size

Skills Taught:

• 1 x 1 ribbing,
• Folded edge (brim),
• Double knitting
• Simple texture
• Increases and decreases
• Pattern overview

Materials Included:

• This workshop includes the pattern (print and digital format).

Materials Required:

• Yarn Weight: DK (11wpi)
• Yardage: 199 - 299 yards (182 - 273m)
• Needles: US 4 - 3.5mm
• Stitch markers
• Tapestry needle
• Blocking tools

Recommended Yarns:

• Sandnes Garn Peer Gynt (50g=91m) or another DK weight yarn or
• Knitting for Olive Merino (50g = 250m) held together with Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair (25g = 225m) or a similar combination of yarns.
